Selena Gomez has been spending time with her family in Texas recently, so we were shocked to hear that things are allegedly tense between her and her mom. According to Star magazine, Mandy Teefey is worried that her daughter is hanging out too much with Kris Jenner! She thinks theKeeping Up With the Kardashians star is turning her daughter into something she's not.
“Mandy understands Selena’s decision to upgrade her management. But she is worried," their source said.
“On the rare occasion when Mandy does talk to her daughter, it’s ‘Kris says this’ and ‘Kris thinks that’ — Selena is completely under her spell. Kris is giving her advice on where to be seen, what to wear and what to share online, and Selena is lapping it up.”
When she fired her parents as managers earlier this year, the "Come and Get It" singer was rumored to be hiring Kris as her manager. While that turned out to be false, she was recently caught hanging out with her "travel buddy" when returning home from Paris.
However, we don't think Mandy has anything to worry about! Selena might be changing up her music and acting choices, but we still love her — and it really seems like she's in control of her career now.
