Ed Sheeran Is Taking a Break From Singing!

TUMBLR
Sheerios, brace yourselves for some serious news — Ed Sheeran announced that he is going on hiatus! The "Everything Has Changed" singer spilled that he wants to take a break from singing, so his new album probably won't be out until 2016.
"I haven’t had any time off since before I signed my record deal and I want some! I’ll do what I enjoy and it won’t feel like work," he said.

He's been releasing original music like crazy, so he definitely deserves a break! The singer-songwriter also revealed that he won't be dropping any more singles from his latest album, so his mind-blowing dance moves from the "Thinking Out Loud" music video will have to tide us over until his new stuff.
"I don’t think I should do another single from X. Three is a good number. I did six on the last album and it felt too much."
Obviously, we didn't feel like six singles was too much — but that's just us! Ed says he also wants to build up the anticipation for his new music, whenever it comes.
“If my song came out next year or the year after, when I haven’t released anything for a while, it will be bigger," he said.
Guess we'll just have to wait until then! At least we have the song he wrote for One Direction to look forward to...
Are you upset that Ed is taking a hiatus? What do you think he'll do in his spare time?
