We were shocked when we heard that Miley Cyrus and Rihanna were spotted going head-to head at the AmfAR Inspiration Gala! However, they weren't fighting over their music or any crazy statements — they were just bidding against each other for a photograph.
In the end, the "Wrecking Ball" singer won the battle, paying $300,000 for a Ryan McGinleyphotograph at the charity auction. "I'm a half a million deep," she joked at the event.
Phew, that was close! We're definitely glad that Miley isn't stirring up trouble with another artist, especially because she's not shy about slinging her own disses. A fight between them could get pretty nasty, so we're happy that Rihanna wasn't too upset she lost out on the photograph. (She ended up donating $200,000 anyway.) They look like they really got along in the end! Can you believe Miley dropped that much for a photo, even if it was for charity?
