Shailene Woodley is always shocking us with the crazy things that come out of her mouth. (Do you remember when she said she loved being homeless?) In a new interview with Vanity Fair, The Fault In Our Stars actress made our jaws drop again, revealing that she nearly quit acting after getting rave reviews for her first movie, The Descendants.
"Somebody came to me and said, 'I can't wait to see what you do next.' I took that as pressure — that I had to live up to somebody else's expectations," she told the magazine. "There were a few months where I was like, 'I don't want to act anymore.' And then I got over it and realized it's none of my business what other people think of me."
Shailene also opened up about her love life — specifically, about whether or not she would ever date another actor. Given the rumors that she's dated several of her hunky co-stars — fromDivergent's Theo James to her TFIOS love interest Ansel Egort — we were really surprised by her response!
"I'm never going to say never," Shailene said. "I love acting, but I also really love nature and most actors don't want to get dirty."
