Sam & Cat stars Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy always seemed like the best of friends... until a few recent incidents made us wonder what was really go on between the girls. Rumors of a feud began back in March, when Jennette decided to skip the 2014 Kids' Choice Awards, then unfollowed Ari on both Instagram and Twitter. More recently, she posted about ending a toxic friendship that sounded a lot like her relationship with her co-star.
But were Jennette's harsh words really directed at Ariana?
"As far as I know, I know the situation pretty well — they're not in a fight," a source toldHollywoodLife. "I really don't think [the tweet] is about Ariana, and I know they haven't had a falling out. They were still hanging out last week!"
"But I do now that there's probably a lot of jealousy there — they're young girls," their source adds. "Last week things were fine, but I do know there's a little bit of jealousy because Jennette owned Nickelodeon and then Ariana came along."
